Ph.D. program | Abhyuday University, Khargone, has established an exclusive Research Center for the advancement of research and started Doctoral Programs (Ph.D.) in the year 2023. The Ordinance of the University governs the Doctoral Program (Ph.D.). Ph.D. Courses | Abhyuday University, Khargone, are offered by the School of Management, School of Commerce, School of Law, School of Journalism, School of Science and Technology, School of Engineering & Technology, and School of Social Science. Under the Dean of Research Studies, each of the constituent schools of the University offers its own Ph.D. program.

• In accordance with these Regulations, the following persons are eligible to apply for admission to the Doctoral Program:
• Candidates who have successfully completed their Phil. Coursework with at least a 55% grade point average or an equivalent grade on UGC’s seven-point scale (or a grade equivalent in a point scale wherever grading systems are used) and successful completion of the M.Phil. An individual who holds a Master’s Degree is eligible to continue his or her studies in order to receive a Ph.D. degree from the same institution. This is an integrated program.
• Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / Differently-Able and other categories of candidates may be allowed a relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50%.
• Candidates who possess a degree equivalent to a Master of Philosophy. Students with degrees from Indian institutions and from foreign educational institutions accredited by Assessment and Accreditation Agencies with authority approval, recognition, or authorization, established or incorporated by law or other statutory authority in their home country for assessing, accrediting, or assuring the quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programs.

Doctoral Entrance Test (DET)

It is mandatory for all applicants to take the entrance test for doctoral programs if they are not exempt. The entrance test will follow the same format as the National Eligibility Test of the University Grants Commission. A university-sponsored entrance test will be administered to students interested in enrolling in the doctoral program. In a notification, the date and place of the event will be announced.

The test will consist of the following topics:

1. MCQs and descriptive type questions on the relevant subjects, up to PG level, on the foundation of the relevant subjects.
2. Proficiency in English communication.
3. Analytical and mental ability, including reasoning ability.
